Everyone else wants a subscription to sign documents. We charge £1.19 per document, done and dusted.
No monthly fee. No per-user fee. Nothing to cancel.
Send nothing next month and you pay nothing at all.
One price whether you send two documents or two thousand.
- No card needed · no subscription · cancel nothing
- Data held in the UK · GDPR compliant
The big platforms charge you
whether you send anything or not.
That's the bit that stings for a small business. Twelve months of subscription for the four contracts you actually sent. Here's how the sums compare.
£10 a month billed annually - £120 up front - and it caps you at five documents a month. Send four contracts in a year and each one effectively cost you £30.
Signing is bundled into an Acrobat subscription you pay for per user, per month - and team plans cap transactions at 150 per user a year. You're buying a PDF editor to get a signature.
Around $25 per user a month, with a two-seat minimum - so the realistic entry price is double the headline, even if you're on your own.
Competitor prices are their published list prices, checked in August 2026, and exclude VAT. They change them from time to time - always check before you decide. GetSigning is not affiliated with any of these companies.
The entire price list
One number. It does not change with volume, with how many people are on your account, or with how long you have been a customer.

Work out what you'd pay
Move the slider. That's the entire pricing conversation.
Based on Docusign's published UK list prices (Personal £10/month, Standard £25/user/month, both billed annually), excluding VAT, checked August 2026. One GetSigning document goes to as many signers as you like.
Nothing is behind a higher tier
There is no higher tier and no cheaper rate. Every feature below is in the £1.19.
Signature certificate
The evidence page - IP, location, device, timestamps, consent - bound into every completed PDF. Not an add-on.
Your branding
Your company name, your colour, your wording on every email. Most platforms call this a paid upgrade.
Automatic chasing
Reminders on your schedule that stop the moment someone signs. You write the wording.
Unlimited users
Add your whole office. We charge for documents, so metering seats would make no sense.
Word files too
PDF, Word, ODT, spreadsheets, images. Anything that isn't a PDF is converted before you place a field.
Any number of signers
Two or twenty, all at once or one after another in order. Still counts as one document.
Three steps, no training
If you can attach a file to an email, you can use this.
Upload and add the people
Drop in a PDF or a Word file. Then list who needs to sign - name and email is all it takes.
Drag the fields onto the page
Signature, initials, date, text, tick box. Each person gets a colour, and a live preview shows exactly what the finished PDF will look like.
They sign on any device
A private link, no account, no app, no password. They draw or type their signature and they're done - free for them, always.
Proof you can put in front of a judge
A low price is worth nothing if the signature doesn't stand up. Every completed document carries a certificate bound into the PDF itself.
- Date and time to the second, in UTC
- IP address, approximate location and time zone
- Device, browser and a device fingerprint
- When they opened it, and how many times
- Their explicit consent to sign electronically
Every entry is cryptographically chained to the one before it. Alter any historic event and every link after it breaks - which the certificate reports.
Your contracts stay in Britain.
Your documents are your clients' personal data as well as your own. They are stored in London and nowhere else, and even the email that carries a signed contract is processed in the UK. We do not read them, we do not train anything on them, and we do not track you around the internet.
- UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 compliant
- Registered with the ICO, number ZA919631
- We act as your processor - a written agreement, not a promise
- One strictly-necessary cookie. No banner, because there's nothing to consent to
- Delete your account and data whenever you like
We're new, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
You won't find a wall of five-star reviews on this page, or a "trusted by 40,000 businesses" banner. GetSigning launched in 2026 and we'd rather tell you that than invent social proof.
What we can tell you is how it's built and what it costs. It's made in West Yorkshire by a one-person software company that has spent a decade building job management systems for construction and property firms - the sort of business that sends a handful of contracts a month and shouldn't be paying £300 a year for the privilege.
Every document is £1.19 and that isn't a launch offer, an introductory rate, or a number that changes once you depend on us. If you find a UK signing platform with a full audit trail that costs less per document, email us and we'll take a serious look at ours.
The things people ask
Including where the limits are.
Yes. £1.19 including VAT, per document sent. It does not fall with volume and it does not rise for extra users. There is no monthly fee, no setup fee, and no tier holding features back: every account gets everything, including the API.
One document means one file sent to as many signers as it needs. A ten-page contract going to five people is one document. Buy credits in whatever quantity suits you - they don't expire.
If you send a lot, every month, without fail. Docusign's Standard plan at £25 a user a month works out cheaper above roughly 21 documents a month, though it caps envelopes and charges per person. Dropbox Sign's cheapest unlimited plan, around £12 a month, crosses over at about 10 a month for a single user.
Below those points, which is where most small businesses sit, paying per document wins, and in a month when you send nothing you pay nothing at all. Add a second or third person who needs to send and the comparison shifts back our way, because we do not charge per user. The calculator above does the sum in both directions.
Yes, for the great majority of business documents. Section 7 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000 makes electronic signatures admissible in legal proceedings, and the UK eIDAS Regulation provides that a signature cannot be denied legal effect merely because it is electronic.
In 2019 the Law Commission confirmed electronic signatures can execute documents under English law where the signatory intends to authenticate them, and the Government accepted that in 2020. Read the full guide.
Some documents carry extra formalities:
- Wills - must be signed before two physically present witnesses.
- Lasting powers of attorney - their own statutory process.
- Deeds - valid electronically, but still need a witness physically present. A video call is not enough.
- Some Land Registry documents - HM Land Registry sets its own requirements.
If a document matters and you're unsure, ask a solicitor. It's a cheaper conversation than the one afterwards.
No, and it's worth being straight about it. UK eIDAS describes three tiers: simple, advanced and qualified. A qualified signature needs a certificate from a qualified trust service provider who has verified the signer's identity in person or to an equivalent standard.
GetSigning produces a simple electronic signature backed by substantial evidence of identity and intent - email control, a private single-use link, recorded IP and device, and a tamper-evident audit trail. That's the same standard the mainstream platforms provide, and it suits ordinary commercial contracts. If you specifically need a qualified signature, you need a qualified trust service provider, not us.
Each party gets a link unique to them, built from a public lookup part and a secret part. We store only a hash of the secret, so even someone holding a copy of our database couldn't reconstruct a working link.
Links expire on a date you choose, stop working once that person has signed, and die immediately if you withdraw the document. In sequential signing, a link isn't created at all until that person's turn.
No. They click the link in their email, fill in their fields, sign, done. No account, no password, nothing to install, works on a phone. Signing is always free for them - you're the only one who pays.
No - there's nothing to cancel. Buy credits when you need them and stop whenever. Everything you've signed stays available to download, and the completed PDFs you were emailed at the time are yours regardless, sitting on your own computer. We think you should be able to walk away without losing anything.
