GetSigning vs Adobe Acrobat Sign

Adobe Acrobat Sign is signing bundled into a PDF editor. If you already live in Acrobat all day, that bundling is convenient. If you just need a contract signed, you are buying a large piece of software to get a small piece of it.

The transaction cap is the part people miss

Adobe's team plans limit you to 150 transactions per user per year. That sounds generous until a busy quarter, and going over means buying more licences rather than paying for what you used. A per-document price has no cliff in it: the two hundredth document costs exactly what the first one did.

Where Adobe wins: if you genuinely need Acrobat. Editing PDFs, OCR, redaction, combining and exporting are real tools and we do none of them. We take a finished document and get it signed.

What you give up

  • The PDF editor. We convert Word, ODT and images to PDF so you can place fields on them, but we do not edit PDFs.
  • Adobe's integration library and enterprise identity tooling.
  • Qualified electronic signatures for the narrow set of documents that require them.

What you get instead

  • One price. £1.19 a document, including VAT, at any volume.
  • No per-user charge, so your whole office can send.
  • No annual cap to trip over in a busy month.
  • UK hosting, a UK company, ICO registered.
  • A full API included, not held back for a higher tier.

£1.19 a document. That is the whole price list.

Three documents free to try it, no card needed. Every signature comes with a certificate and a tamper-evident audit trail.
